This Sunday 25th September, Driver Jon Kauffmann will be honored at the Minnesota Fallen Firefighter Service. This year’s ceremony, at the Minnesota Fallen Firefighter Memorial at the State Capitol, is scheduled to include a wreath laying, reading of the honor roll, comments from dignitaries, bag pipes and a bell ceremony. Additionally, Chief Koenig will be presenting Jon's widow Neeley with a flag in honor of our fallen Brother.

Event details are as follows:

• Date: Sunday 25th September
• Start Time: 1300 hours
• If you are attending, it is STRONGLY encouraged that you wear your Class A uniform for participation in the Sea of Blue. Class B is acceptable if you do not possess the prior.
• Spouses are welcome to attend.
